I have extensive finished art experience, working with my own designs or bringing to life the vision of other designers. I have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to quickly interpret and apply styles guides and templates. This includes all aspects of layout, master pages, applying paragraph and character styles, complex tables, infographics, graphs, retouching, contouring and colour balancing. I have prepared finished art in both print and digital platforms. I have also worked in Indesign in an XML-first workflow, retaining the integrity of the coding throughout the text.

Project: F–2 Primary Atlas, 3–4 Primary Atlas, 5–6 Primary Atlas
I retouched the covers of all three books, adding gum leaves to soften and add colour to F – 2, smoothing the fur of the platypus and strategically adding and removing the greenery on 3 – 4 and replacing a dull grey background with a warm sunset on 5 – 6. I also created the page layouts for F–2 and 3–4 and collaborated with other designers on 5–6. Each spread required a unique layout that interpreted the original designer’s vision. The 5 –6 Primary Atlas was shortlisted for the 2013 Australian Publishing Association Design awards.

Project: Australian Curriculum Atlas
This senior school atlas is a complex mix of text book, graphs, infographics, tables and maps. I created finished artwork for the printed version of the book, then prepared all images, (including infographics, tables, maps and diagrams) ready for upload for the digital version.
